According to Man's time what modifies slowly is considered immobile.
Soil and rocks are perceived as immutable and inert entities, they are silent narrators, enclosing the story of a place within themselves.
Chromatography is a photographic process used in biodinamyc agriculture, the soil is intended as a living being, a system of elements operating and living together.Soil samples are taken from different points of interest of the Island (Necropolis, Canai Tower, Calasetta's saltern, nuragic complex Grutt'i acqua) are treated and absorbed by paper filter with silver nitrate, the chemical reaction gives us the photography of that soil.
The circular tapestries are inspired by these chromatographies, woven in local wool, they are totemic objects celebrating the Island of Sant'Antioco, its pivotal places, community, textile traditions and the soil that gave birth to them.
